THE RICHMOND SHEPARD THEATRE
In two weeks, Hitgirls the Musical Comedy will make its world premiere. In less than one week, Hitgirls the Music and Comedy Party will rock your socks off. Come celebrate with the cast and crew for this amazeballs evening of improv, stand-up, and live music.
The night starts on Saturday, July 23rd at 10:30pm at Richmond Shepard Theatre on 309 East 26th Street between 2nd and 1st Ave.
Confirmed acts include:
Improv by the always hilarious MAYBE SHERMAN
Stand-Up by the lovely and talented DIANA DE LUNA and the greatest male stand up comic in ze world JEREMY PINSLY (I swear I'm not biased)
Music by the fantastic, charming DANIEL TEPPER from the band Don't Forget to Write and the brilliant co-composers of Hitgirls themselves...Neal Rosenthal, Scott Clemens and their band ABSENCE OF SANITY. What what.
More acts are soon to be confirmed and we will let you know as soon as they are!
Cover is $5 and beers will range from a whopping $2 to $3. Yes, there is no place in the city to get hammered for so cheap (with the exception of my stalker's basement, but that's just awkward).
Proceeds go to a scholarship fund for young girls to get into ILA (the International League of Assassins) Elementary. There is nothing sadder than a sweet, untrained girl who can't wield piano wire like she's cutting through gruyere. Do what you can to help.
