Nick Z
Often described as the “Wild Child” of comedy, Nick Z is sure to light up the room and set fires on any stage he hits. Nick Z is professionally trained in improv comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC, which happens to be the home for all things comedy. Not only is he an amazing entertainer, but also a person you would want to know on a personal level. Conversations with Nick Z are filled with hilarious stories and anecdotes that you can easily identify with and take home for a small nominal fee of $ free ninety-nine.
At first sight, being so ruggedly handsome, he may seem like a quiet and shy individual, but do not let that fool you! His personality is actually quite the opposite. You’ll be left awe-struck by the many jokes that he so easily blurts out onstage and off, or his infamous female character “Stephanie”, a crazy, cynical, sexually-driven valley girl whom you never know what “she” will say next. In fact, you may have even heard “Stephanie” and Nick himself on Jamie Foxx’s Sirius Satellite Radio Show, The FoxxHole.
The great thing about Nick Z’s stand up is how relative it is to just about anyone. You’ll surely find yourself at one of his performances saying, “Oh my God, I have definitely been in that kind of situation!”
If you don’t see Nick Z booked at your local comedy club, please contact them and request him to perform there. Nick Z is getting tired of doing his act door to door!

THE Z ROOM
The Z Room Comedy Lounge is the mastermind of 3 comics, VH1 Reality Celebrity Darra “Like Dat” Boyd, South Jersey Comedian & DJ Nick Z and NYC Comic “Big” Ben Rosenfeld.
The name “The Z Room” was endearingly named after Nick Z. His difficult to pronounce last name made an easy platform for a show that would never be forgotten. Said Darra; “To many comedy shows have names you can’t remember. The “Like Dat” Laugh Lounge was just to long! So, I thought “The Z Room” was quick, easy, and simple to associate. It didn’t matter who’s name was titling the show, we were all working hard to get it started and just wanted a name that people would not forget!” And so it began.
Darra’s marketing idea soared this new comedy show into new heights and made it one of the hottest New York City comedy open mics in under a year.
The Z Room’s mission? Comedy by us for us. An open mic where rookie comedians can hone their skills, a place where veterans can try out new material and where the audience never knows what to expect.
The Z Room is hosted by Darra “Like Dat” Boyd every Monday night in Murray Hill, where these 3 comics produce this free comedy show. Their patrons, The Pine Tree Lodge Bar & Grill offer drink specials the entire night and an awesome Caribbean cuisine. Audience members can call the Pine Tree Lodge to reserve a table (For parties of 4 or more) close to the Yak’s head where the comedians so their set. Prospective talent can email The Z Room to book a spot. The show starts at 9pm and gets pretty full before then, so don’t be late!

No old lady in NYC is WITHOUT the number paralink, paratransit, the senior MTA card or directions to the nearest grocery. The rich on'e have assistants and the middle class are to scared to get robbed themselves!!!
